Harry Potter Spells Book Tag

Hey Guys,

So today I decided I wanted to do something different to spice up the usual posts.  A book tag! I wasn’t tagged for this tag, but I’m still going to do it anyway!

Let’s begin!

Oh my goodness. Am I really getting asked this question? Anyone who’s been following my blog know that I love HARRY FREAKING POTTER!!

While I’m not aware of books that can actually kill someone, (If you are aware, keep it to yourself!) One of the books that literally gave me all of the feels, (And literally killed everyone while doing it) was The Book Thief by: Marcus Zusak

In case you can’t tell. I LOVE IT WHEN AUTHOR’S KILL CHARACTERS! (I Promise I’m sane) I just think it’s so bold to kill a character that contributes to making the character more meaningful then we as the reader first expected!

The Fire Within by: Chris d’lacey. HATED THIS! THEIR IS A FREAKING DRAGON ON THE FRONT COVER AND THE WHOLE BOOK IS ABOUT SQUIRELLS! Total book click bait! DO NOT READ!!!

Percy Jackson! I actually started reading this when I was in 2nd grade, and even still following the story now! Looking back at my younger brother’s, It’s made me realize how crazy it is for a second grader to be reading a 300 some-wad page book! I’ve loved Rick’s writing so much I’m pretty sure I’ll never stopped reading every mythology book the man puts out there.

Steelheart by: Brandon Sanderson. If you’ve been following my blog recently you know that I am in LOVE with Brandon’s work. I remember starting this book way back in 2015. I have to say, I had NO idea about how good this book is. If you have not read this I HIGHLY recommend this book. The story, idea, characters, world are all SOOO great!

Currently reading Magnus Chase and the gods of Asgard: The Hammer of Thor

Honestly I would love to have my mind wiped about the Harry Potter series. I remember finishing it for the first time last year and freaking out about how good it was! I would love to go back and relive those days of reading without knowing what’ll happen to any of these characters and freaking out at the battle of Hogwarts.

To Kill a Mockingbird by: Harper Lee. Totally would have NOT read if it weren’t for my English class. I wasn’t a HUGE fan of it, It wasn’t bad. But it definently wasn’t up their with the best on my list at all. Although, looking back I am glad that I was forced to read it

Cinder by: Marissa Meyer. Sci-Fi meets Fairy Tail’s guys! It’s really original and really fun! I rated all of the four books in the series a five! PLEASE READ THEM! I BEG OF YOU! *get’s on knees and start’s begging* THEY ARE SOOOOO GOOD!

That’s all folks! Thank’s for reading! My names Jared and I’ll have another post up soon! Bye!

Review-Winter by: Marissa Meyer

cooltext133089402245467 Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mar her face, her beauty is said to be even more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana.

Winter despises her stepmother, and knows Levana won’t approve of her feelings for her childhood friend—the handsome palace guard, Jacin. But Winter isn’t as weak as Levana believes her to be and she’s been undermining her stepmother’s wishes for years. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder, and her allies, Winter might even have the power to launch a revolution and win a war that’s been raging for far too long.

Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter defeat Levana and find their happily ever afters?

cooltext133089343094800 Okay did anyone else think they wouldn’t like this book a lot because of the little snippet and the end of Cress? I for sure did but I ended up being really surprised at how good this book ended! I love this series so much,  Words cannot describe my love for it! I actually did a review for the first book Cinder (I’ll link that below) DISCLAIMER: Cinder was my first ever review, and it sucked so if you would like to just go straight to Goodreads I would prefer you do that. But if you’re in a laughing mood go right on ahead! Anyway back to the review. I ended up loving this book way more than I was anticipating! I loved that as you were reading through the book you’d be coming up with theories for the end, and then a huge plot twist would come and destroy all of them! For those who have not read the series I’d pitch it to you as Fantasy + Terminator + Star Wars.

cooltext133089378843909Well I have to admit that sometimes I’d  just keep on thinking when does it end, but then a plot twist would come and would make this book amazing again!

Rating: 5/5 Stars

Cinder by: Marissa Meyer

This is basically a sci-fi version of the cinderella story that we all know. Where society looks down upon Androids and basically anything mechanical.

There is a strange plague called letumosis that is basically a sci-fi futuristic version of Ebola. Everyone who develops signs of the plague are shipped away by society to basically just go and die there because there is no cure. Oh and did I forget to mention there are people on the moon called The Lunars that have strange powers and don’t develop the plague. Meanwhile on earth 16-year old Cinder is 36% cyborg and is adopted by some random lady named Adri. It basically follows the same plot of the cinderella story but with a twist. One of the sister’s Peony develops the plague and is unfortunately the nice one in the family. She is shipped away and the one thing on Cinder’s mind is to find a cure for Peony and for the human race.

Will Cinder find the cure In time? Will she realize her true path and overcome what people say about Androids. Find out in amazing journey that leaves you breathless and waiting for more!
