My top 5 most Anticipated 2017 Releases

Hey guys,

Now that I have finally accepted that it’s 2017. (I know, it’s crazy!) I decided to come up with my top 5 most anticipated reads of 2017! Let’s begin!

1. Caraval by: Stephanie Garber

Short Summary: YA meets the Circus meats magic

Release Date: January 31st 2017

Caraval, by Stephanie Garber has been on my radar for a while. The plot just sounds SOOOO Interesting and I’ve wanted to be reading more diverse in the fantasy genre.  I’ve also had my eye on it since it’s a debut novel and has a TOONN of praise from authors I love!

2. Carve the Mark

For those who don’t know,  Veronica Roth is the author of the Divergent series. I LOOOOVVVVEED that series (Especially the third book, unlike most people).

The reason I’ve wanted to read this is because number one, it’s a duology. (I’ve really wanted to read one. I never have tho..) second, It’s Fantasy. I don’t really know much about the overall plot because this book has been shrouded in secrecy. But, all the information we do know is in the summary below.  It comes out January 17th so MARK YOUR CALENDER’S! (HAHAH. Anyone else catch up on that pun?)

3. Wires and Nerve by: Marissa Meyer

For those who don’t know, I LOOOVVVEEE Marissa Meyer. Her Lunar Chronicles was BRILLIANT! One of my favorite characters in that series was Iko. A ROBOT OF ALL PEOPLE! AND WE GOT A GRAPHIC NOVEL, OF IKO! As soon as I saw this I freaked out!

4. Because you Love to Hate Me

I love a good villain. Who doesn’t love a good villain? It’s always entertaining to watch our antagonist and protagonist clash and fight and see the differences between the two. So when I found out about this, I freaked out!

For this anthology, a bunch of authors partnered up with other bloggers and together they wrote a book filled with 13 short stories all about villains. Is it sinking in yet? I know, I know, IT’S AWESOME! I am SOOO excited for this book! It comes out July 11th, and you can bet your bookshelf that I’ll be buying this ASAP!

5. Wonder Woman: Warbringer by: Leigh Bardugo

Anyone else noticed the recent influx of superhero novels being published by popular authors?  I have *Raises hand*

Have I read any of the superhero novels? *Lowers hand and starts to cry*  BUT THIS WILL CHANGE, SOON! This year I’m planning to read at least two of the many superhero novels out there.

That’s It! Those are my top five books I am anticipating this year, (There are more tho. I just don’t want to make this post SUPER long)

Thank’s for reading! My names Jared, and I’ll have another post up soon. Bye!
