My 2017 February Favorites

Hey guys,

Can you believe it? It’s March already. With the new month already here, I thought it would be a good time to review my reading month, as well as all of my favorite things I’ve watched and experienced this past month.

Let’s begin.

My Favorite Movie:

For those who haven’t seen Moana, (If you haven’t I feel bad for  you) I’ve included a summary at the bottom, so you can find out what’s so AMAZING about this.

Some of the reasons I enjoyed this so much was because of the AMAZING SONGS. It also had a GREAT plot, and supplied SUPER  interesting characters. It’s G rated, and is the newest addition to the Disney Princess Collection.

Rating:

Summary:
The epic journey continues for "Moana" fans as Walt Disney Animation Studios introduces an all-new sing-along version of the hit, critically-lauded comedy-adventure "Moana." From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes "Moana," a sweeping, CG-animated adventure about a spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfill her ancestors' unfinished quest. During her journey, Moana meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui, and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds.

My Favorite Book:

One of the reasons I liked this book so much was how original it was from what I normally read. Basically, it’s about this finishing school, that trains spy’s and assassins. It’s clean, perfect, and I LOVED IT!

Summary:
It's one thing to learn to curtsy properly. It's quite another to learn to curtsy and throw a knife at the same time. Welcome to Finishing School.
Fourteen-year-old Sophronia is a great trial to her poor mother. Sophronia is more interested in dismantling clocks and climbing trees than proper manners--and the family can only hope that company never sees her atrocious curtsy. Mrs. Temminnick is desperate for her daughter to become a proper lady. So she enrolls Sophronia in Mademoiselle Geraldine's Finishing Academy for Young Ladies of Quality.

My Favorite Song:

We Know the Way by: Lin-Manuel Miranda

Yep, Moana. Again. But I can’t help it. The song’s are just SOOO good, and interesting, and fun to sing. So why not. If you haven’t heard this song, google it now and enjoy its AMAZINGNESS!

That’s it! Those are my 3 FAVORITE things of February. Make sure to let me know in the comments below what your favorite things were this year. Thank’s for reading, hope you have an AMAZING DAY!

My January Wrap-Up

Hey guys,

Today I wanted to talk about all of the books I’ve read in the month of January

Stranger: How many books did you read this month???

Me:

6 books

Anyone know where the nearest microphone is located? I need to drop it to make…

*Pauses*

You know what. I suck at celebrating. Let’s just get into the books.

*Sobs because I can’t make a joke*

Because I don’t want to spend the whole post summarizing the books, I will only use one sentence to describe the book. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

1.

Is a book I thought would be WAY better and was very disappointing, and seems too alike to the first one.

My Review

2.

Had too much going on in the whole story and felt like we only focused on one aspect of a HUGE spectrum, a book that had too much things going on at the same time and less action and more “BAKING WITH CATH”.

My Review

3.

Was a VERY  good book full of action, adventure, and huge plot twists that unfold through the book.

4.

Huge amount of diversity, filled with rich characters and an interesting plot that made reading SUPER interesting.

My Review

5.

SUPER boring book about ships, training, and too many details that don’t need to be discussed.

My Review

6.

Same thing as the movie, except for the lack of an actual movie, just the screenplay for it.

That’s it! Those were the six books I read! Overall I think I did pretty good, especially from escaping the Harry Potter reading slump that has overtaken the past 3 month’s of last year. Hopefully I’ll be able to read more, Thanks for reading! Make sure to comment below and let me know what books you’ve read this past month.

Did you like any? The only boring conversation is no conversation at all!

Thanks for reading, my names Jared and I’ll have another post up soon!
