Stacking the Shelves- 2/25/17

Hey guys,

So today I wanted to update you about all of the recent books I have acquired over the past little while. I don’t want to make this too long, so let’s get into it.

I know, it’s a lot. One of my personal reading goals was to attend the library more, and not spend my money on books. Fortunately, It hasn’t been very hard. Between begging for my father to go to the library, as well as having all of my money stolen, all in all things are going pretty good.

Library Books-
The Sorcerer Heir by: Cinda Williams Chima

The Marvels by: Brian Selznick

Caraval by: Stephanie Garber

Ashoka by: E. K. Johnston

Cardboard by: Doug TenNapel

Magonia by: Mariah Dehava Headley

Yep. That’s it. Just ONE book. I was SOOO close to not getting it, but then I read ANOTHER review about it, and finally I caved in. For those who can’t read the title, Carve the Mark is written by Veronica Roth, and I’m SUPER pumped to read what she’s written!

That’s it! Those are all of the books I’ve acquired over the past little while! Short and SWEET!

Let me know in the comments below what books you’ve gotten recently so I can get SUPER jealous!

Thank’s for reading! I’ll have another post up soon. Until then, BYEEEEE!

  1. Oh I can’t wait to know what you think of Carve The Mark! I’m actually a bit scared to read it because I know people who’ve been really slammed for even touching it. Eeep.😭 It’s so controversial, but I want to make my own opinions and read it soon! And OMG YAY CARAVAL! I have that one too! And good on you for librarying. My library is like my faaavourite place.

  2. I love libraries – you can find some absolute gems hidden on the shelves that you’d never find in a book shop.
I’m reading Americanah right now. It’s 500 pages, and I need it for next week (not tomorrow – week after). I’m halfway there though. Just have to stay focused.

  3. SWEET! I totally agree about libraries becoming hidden gems! It’s SOO TRUE! I found Caraval last week and just finished it! I LOVED IT SO MUCH I WANNA DIE! Thank’s for commenting. Have a magnificent Monday!
