February TBR-2017

Hey guys,

Can you believe it? It’s February? Another month closer to your death. (Sorry to get all grim, but it’s true). On a happier note I have some books that I HAVE to read this month! This list is SOO good, it’d be a sin not to read some of them.

1.Ever the Hunted by: Erin Summerill

I’ve heard SOOO many good things about this books. Plus, it involves a bow and arrow! (In case you can’t tell already, my fav weapon is a bow). From what I’ve gathered from other bloggers that I trust, It’s basically about a girl named Britta. Her Father is the bounty hunter for the king and so she follows him around and learns how to track well. Unfortunately, she is approached by the guard saying her Father has been killed by his own apprentice, (the UN-official boyfriend of the story) She ends up getting told by the King that she has to hunt down Cohen, or she will be killed in his place! Doesn’t that sound interesting? I am SUPER pumped to read this and are hoping to send the review out by the beginning of the week.

2. Dragonwatch by: Brandon Mull

This week I was fortunate enough to be sent an ARC copy for review of Dragonwatch by: Brandon Mull. AS SOON AS I SAW THIS I SCREAMED!

For those who don’t know, Dragonwatch is the sequel series to Fablehaven that I LOVED! Fablehaven was the series that I read in elementary school, it had a HUGE impact on me as a reader, and I’m SUPER excited to be getting back to the world!

3. Artemis Fowl by: Eoin Colfer

About a week and a half ago I got a comment in one of my posts suggesting for me to read this! As soon as I read the description, saw the cover, and found it in my brothers room, I immediantly knew that fate has something in store for me. I REALLY want to get to this soon, the concept of a kid/Evil Genius is pulling me in, and I can’t resist the urge to pick this up!

That’s it! Those are the books I KNOW I’m going to read the book. Usually, I try to keep it open because I never know if a book surprises me and I want to continue! Thanks for reading. I’ll have another post up soon!!

  1. I’ve had Artemis Fowl on my TBR for FOREVER. I even started to borrow / steal a copy from my brother eons ago, but never really started it. I keep getting distracted by all the other shiny, lol! If you DO end up reading it, I’d love to know what you think!

  2. Oooh good luck with Artemis Fowl! I seriously want to read that one at some point…and well the whole series.πŸ˜‚ I JUST NEED TO GET A MOVE ON ahahah. And I hope you like Ever the Hunted! The cover is GORGEOUS so that’s good, hehe. I thought it was a bit cliche, myself, but I’m really fussy these days, so here’s to hoping it’s a good read for you. Have a great February!

  3. I JUST finished Ever the Hunted and are a little sad. I was REALLY hoping for more, unfortunately the book brought nothing new to YA fantasy and was a bit cliche. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t my favorite ever. Hopefully I’ll be able to get a head start on Artemis Fowl today, that is if my teacher decides to let us know if we have a test to study for! Have a GREAT February! Thank’s for commenting!

  4. I TOTALLY will! Thank’s for commenting! Hopefully I’ll be able to get to it today. I just finished reading Ever the Hunted by: Erin Sumerill and are SUPER pumped up to be starting Artemis. Hopefully I’ll be able to get a head start! It’s been on my TBR for AGES and I keep on getting distracted!

  5. YAY! Hopefully I’ll be able to finish it soon. I’ll start it tonight hopefully! I’ve had it on my TBR for ages and I’m hoping I can finally mark this one off. Thank’s for commenting! Have an AMAZING day!

  6. Ooo, lucky on getting an ARC for Dragonwatch! Fablehaven was my favorite MG series when I was younger. Maybe it’s due for a reread before Dragonwatch comes out.

Thanks for stopping by Writing on a Vintage Typewriter!

  7. You’re so welcome! Thanks for stopping by! I can assure you that so far everything I’ve read has been SUUPER GOOD! Then again, does 100 pages in count? Thanks for commenting!
