Alcatraz Smedry, the boy with the incredible Talent for breaking things, has a lot to prove and little time in which to do it. In this adventure, Alcatraz faces an army of librarians–and their giant robots–as they battle to win the kingdom of Mokia. If the librarians win the war, everything that Alcatraz has fought so hard for could end in disaster. Alcatraz must face the robots, the evil librarians, and even his own manipulative mother! But will he be able to save the kingdom of Mokia and the Free Kingdoms from the wrath of the librarians before everything comes crashing down?
This is the fourth book in the Alcatraz series. And it wasn’t a let down. After getting used to this unique writing style I really enjoyed this book! It wasn’t my fav book of all time, but it wasn’t a let down. I love how in each book Brandon explores the whole Smedry talents and twists them into things you wouldn’t expect. This book has by far the best ending. I am so excited for the next book Alcatraz vs the Evil Librarians: The Dark Talent coming later this year! The plot was fun and exciting. The series is adorable and the Chapter headings are hilarious. I love Alcatraz as a character because he’s fun, witty, clever, and just all around weird. with the storyline FINALLY heating up, I’m almost positive the next book will be the best, by far!
Honestly I feel like I’m missing the tension in the series, I feel like Alcatraz doesn’t have anything to loose. I just feel like this series is lacking that kind of tension if anyone knows what it means. But I love that we finally have figured out the villan in the most unlikely way!
